About Joe Bray

Joe Bray is a Senior Partner with the Brad Kappel Team and a leading authority on luxury and waterfront real estate across Maryland’s Eastern Shore. A native of Annapolis and a current Eastern Shore resident, Joe’s connection to the Chesapeake Bay runs deep. From an early age, he spent weekends at the U.S. Naval Academy with his grandfather, a member of the Class of 1951, crabbing, fishing, and kayaking along the Bay; experiences that shaped his lifelong appreciation for the region and ultimately became the foundation of his real estate career.

Since entering the industry in 2010, Joe has facilitated more than $500 million in real estate sales, reaching several record-setting milestones on the Eastern Shore, including the third-highest sale ever recorded in Neavitt, Maryland. Known for his strategic insight and results-driven approach, Joe consistently delivers exceptional outcomes for buyers and sellers of premier waterfront and luxury properties. His leadership experience includes serving as Regional President, where he successfully transformed a struggling region into a profitable, high-performing operation. His achievements have been recognized with honors, including the President’s Award in 2022 and Executive of the Year in 2023.

Joe attended Salisbury University on Maryland’s Eastern Shore and continues to live and work in the communities he knows best. Outside of real estate, he enjoys spending time with his family at their Kent Island home, running along the Bay, golfing with his son, and unwinding with a good book by the water. Joe’s deep knowledge of the Chesapeake Bay, paired with his commitment to excellence, makes him a trusted advisor for clients seeking the highest level of representation on the Eastern Shore.
